Mr. Getty began riding at the age of 9, and started his hunting career in 1970.
He rode with the Smithtown Hunt and held the position of Hon. Whipper-In and
later Hon. Huntsman until 1979. He was appointed Master and Hon. Huntsman of
the Suffolk County Hounds in 1980. In 1986 he moved to Virginia and became
Master and Hon. Huntsman, a position he maintains to this day. He breeds and
sells Irish Sport Horses on his farm in Middlebrook, Virginia.

Mrs. Case began riding and hunting
at an early age. Her mother was a polo player and rode with three hunts in
Massachusetts, including Myopia. Her grandmother often rode over the cascades
in the early part of the century and taught riding in California. Mrs. Case
joined the hunt in 1981 and became Jt. Master in 1993.
Donald Clark was voted in as the Middlebrook Hounds new President at the 2007
Annual Meeting. Past President Henry Myers was Chairman of the Hunt Committee,
which is the equivalent of a Club President, since 1993. He began riding with
the Middlebrook Hounds in 1974 and helped to get the Hunter Pace series
started, which in 2001 enjoyed its 25th year. In steeplechase competition in
Northern Virginia, and more recently at Bedford, he and colleagues have
represented the Middlebrook Hounds since 1976. He has been teaching political
science and history at James Madison University since 1968.
